Morad winery, family establishment that produces "sicar" and wines, is located in the Galilee city of Yokneam. An age-old winemaking tradition, passed down from fathers to sons, has made Morad a winery with superior flavors.
Love that`s the story
As a young child, Jacob Morad and his family arrived in Yokneam as new immigrants.
Using grapes from their backyard vineyard his father prepared wine for his family Every season. By the age of 12, Jacob was already a full-fledged assistant.
In 1969 Jacob met Eti, his wife to be one day, after praising his father`s winemaking skills, Eti suggested they pay a visit to her parents in Yavniel. That romantic visit marked the start of Morad winery.
In their cellar, Eti`s father kept many well-guarded recipes for fruit and vegetable "sicar" imparted from generation to generation, which he revealed to his future son in law.
Mesmerized, Jacob began experimenting with them together with his own family`s recipe.
