Carlsberg`s story in Israel begins at the end of 1991. The "Central Bottling Company Ltd." (Coca Cola Israel) signed an agreement with Carlsberg International A/S granting it exclusive rights to distribute Carlsberg and Tuborg brands and products in Israel as well as the right to build a modern beer brewery for the production of all beer products required for the Israeli market.
At the beginning of 1992 "Israel Beer Breweries Ltd." (Carlsberg Israel) entered the Israeli market with extensive marketing activities.
The brewery has a unique and exceptional visitor center with daily guided tours and product sampling.
The visitor center also includes a beer history museum.
