Visitor`s Center Old Jaffa

Opened to the public in 1993, the Visitors Center is located in Kedumim Square in the Old City of Jaffa in a unique underground old building.

The display at the Visitors Center includes exhibits of archeological ruins from the Hellenistic and Roman Eras; ten three-dimensional illustrations that tell the legends and historical events that took place in Jaffa over the past 2,000 years; eight painting of Jaffa from the perspective of the sea painted in the past 300 years; and archeological finds discovered in digs in the area, including vases and ceramics.

The Visitors Center has a light and sound show about the past and present of the Old City of Jaffa, including a movie and life-sized figures placed within the dig representing a range of figures from different eras at the site.
