Church of St. Mary Magdalene was built by decree of Tsar Alexander III in memory of his mother the Empress Maria Alexandrovna.
The 7 domes of the New-Russian church built in the style of architect David Grimm in the years 1885-1888.
Iconostasis in a temple made of white marble, and the icons are painted with the famous painter Vereshchagin.
