Church of St. Anne in Zippori

According to Christian tradition, Saint Anne was the mother of the Virgin Mary. Anne and her husband Joachim, after years of childlessness, were visited by an angel who told them that they would conceive a child.

Saint Anne and Saint Joachim, had lived in Zippori.
The Crusaders built a church in memory of Saint Anne at Zippori.
