Fifth Station Of The Cross

Fifth Station - Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus to carry his cross.

"And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus."
(Luke, Chapter 23, 26)

According to the tradition, at the Fifth Station of the Cross, Simon the Cyrenian took the cross from Jesus and continue walking on the Tribulation Road to Golgotha.
There is an inscription above the door about this.
