Monastery of Ap. St. Peter

Monastery of St. Peter the Apostle was built in 1874 in Jaffa at the site of ancient Jewish cemetery found by archaeologists.

By tradition, it is in Jaffa St. Peter created a miracle and raised a tailor named Tavifa. After her second death, she was buried in Jaffa.

The church is surrounded by a garden, through which you can get to Tavifa`s grave.
